Once you have subscribed with the Vettro Mobile Technician complete the following steps:

ASP Customers

If your installation of SuccessWare21® is accessed via Western New York Computing Services’ ASP, then you need only to complete the following tasks:

1)       Contact SuccessWare for a software activation code.  This code will enable the elements required to configure SuccessWare21® for communication with your Vettro Mobile Technicians.

2)       Enabling the Third Party Agent in the Agent Manager.  Be sure to supply Vettro with the password you setup for the agent.  You will not be able to enable the agent “Vettro” until provisioning your phones.  It is during this stage of ‘provisioning’ that the Vettro agent initially attempts access and registers with the SuccessWare21® database.  During provisioning, you will need to enable the “Vettro” agent.

3)       Set Up User Groups in SuccessWare21®.  You will not be able to enable logon for the agent “Vettro” until provisioning your phones.  It is during this stage of ‘provisioning’ that the Vettro agent initially attempts access and registers with the SuccessWare21® database.  During provisioning, you can return to this step and enable logon for “Vettro”.

4)       Set Up Users in SuccessWare21®.

LAN Customers

If your installation of SuccessWare21® exists on your own internal LAN, you will need to complete the following steps:

1)       Contact SuccessWare for a software activation code.  This code will enable the elements required to configure SuccessWare21® for communication with your Vettro Mobile Technicians.

2)       Install the SuccessWare21® Client on your server if it is not already installed and make sure you can run SuccessWare21® on your server.

3)       In order to access the ‘Directions’ feature, you will need to install Microsoft MapPoint 2002 (or greater) on the server.

4)       Enable port forwarding for a designated port (2142 is recommended) through any existing firewall/router to your server.  You may require a computer technician or need to consult your ISP to perform this step.  Neither SuccessWare nor Vettro is able to assist with this step as ISP/routers/firewalls are so varied and specific knowledge of the particular configurations is required.

Once you have activated SuccessWare21®, Installed the SuccessWare21® Client on your server, and enabled port forwarding to your server you can continue with the following steps:

5)       Set Up the SuccessWare21® Http Server with the SWHttpSvc Administrator.  To do this, you must be logged onto SuccessWare21® at your Server.

6)       Set Up the VettroListener with the VettroListener Administrator.  To do this, you must be logged onto SuccessWare21® at your Server.

7)       Enabling the Third Party Agent in the Agent Manager.
