
CompanyCam and Successware
CompanyCam allows you to take and store pictures
categorized by customer address and technician. Once uploaded to CompanyCam
these pictures are immediately available for viewing by other CompanyCam
users, and also from within Successware. To learn

Taking and Saving
Pictures is Easy!
Once set up with CompanyCam, each time a job is created
for a Service Location in Successware, that location will be created in
CompanyCam as a “Project”. When a technician arrives onsite at the customer location they will open
the CompanyCam App on their phone. The app will use the phone’s GPS to
identify the CompanyCam Project location that was created. The technician can
now use their phone to take pictures at the location and they will
automatically be added to the CompanyCam Project that was created for that
address. As soon as the picture is taken, it is available for viewing by
other CompanyCam users and from within Successware.

Once you complete the CompanyCam Setup, the CompanyCam
logo will appear in the upper-right hand corner of a number
of forms in Successware. Clicking on the CompanyCam logo will open the
related pictures in the CompanyCam website.
· Job
Form - will open the CompanyCam website to this Service Location with the
newest photos at the top.
· Dispatch
Board – Once you’ve selected an appointment on the dispatch board,
clicking the CompanyCam icon will open the CompanyCam website to the location
for the selected job, with pictures taken around the scheduled date of the
job at the forefront
· Location
Details Form – will open the CompanyCam website to this Service Location
with the newest photos at the top.
· Equipment
Form - will open the CompanyCam website to this Service Location with the
newest photos at the top.
· Employee
Form - will open the CompanyCam website to this employee’s account, with
their most recent pictures at the top.
CompanyCam
Projects
The CompanyCam “Project” the term they use to identify a
specific address. It is not related to any specific job or technician, but
rather the address itself. If pictures are taken for different jobs for a
particular location, they will all show up under that one CompanyCam Project.
Pictures are listed by date order so it is easy to
scroll to the date of a particular job or to the most recent pictures taken.
Setup
To start using CompanyCam with Successware you will need
to:
1.
Create your account with CompanyCam, if you don’t already have one
2.
Open the Successware Add-On Manager and add CompanyCam, a wizard is
there to guide you:
a.
Enter and verify your CompanyCam credentials.
b.
Identify which of your Successware employees will need a CompanyCam
account. Once this is completed each employee will receive a text or email
indicating how to install and start using CompanyCam on their device.
c.
Synchronize all open jobs / locations to CompanyCam as a new project.
d.
Synchronize all your active equipment types, this will allow your
technicians to tag each picture as a type.
Creating
CompanyCam “Projects” from Successware
Successware Service Locations will automatically be
created as CompanyCam “Projects” when a job is scheduled or rescheduled for
that Service Location.
During the initial setup of CompanyCam, all Service
Locations that currently have an open job created within the last month will
have a CompanyCam “Project” created for them.
If you click on the CompanyCam Icon from a form and the
associated Service Location does not already exist in CompanyCam as a
“Project” you will be given a prompt for CompanyCam to create it.
Create CompanyCam
Accounts for My Technicians
You can create new CompanyCam accounts for your
technicians at any time directly from Successware.
The employee must already be created in Successware to do
so and have an email address as well as optionally, a phone number.
Open the Employee Manager Form and click the CompanyCam
Icon. This will open the CompanyCam User Form.
Here for employees that do not already have a CompanyCam
User Account, you can click into the Create CCam Account field to place a
checkmark.
When you click Save a user account will be created for the
employee. The employee will receive an email or text with instructions for
downloading the CompanyCam app and completing their User Setup.
NOTE: Only one CompanyCam user account is allowed
per email address. Also after deleting a CompanyCam
user account, you cannot create another account with that email address,
instead you must use the CompanyCam website and request that the user be
reactivated.
