Some enhancements have been made to the handling of serialized items on physical counts. These changes were made to improve the accuracy of counting and to allow proper correction of serial number tags that are out of balance with the warehouse stock on hand quantity.
These enhancements include…
· Prevention of Counting Conflicts—SuccessWare21 will now prevent the same item for the same warehouse from being counted on two different physical count adjustments at the same time. This means if an item is already being counted for the Main warehouse on adjustment #231 you will not be able to add this item to any other physical count adjustment for the Main warehouse until #231 is posted.
If a conflict is found when attempting to create a physical count and load items, you can either load the items that do not exist on the other adjustment or not load any stock items which will create an empty physical count adjustment where you can add items individually.
· Stock Setup Management—You can now record the bin number, minimum quantity, and maximum quantity on adjustments. When you post an adjustment this will update the stock setup in the warehouse. Adjusting (unposting) the adjustment will not reverse these changes. In order to use this feature, the user entering the physical count must have the Create/Modify/Delete Warehouse Stock Items ability.
· Serial Tag Management—changes…
o When serialized items are added to a physical count, multiple lines are added - one for each individual item (tag). The number of lines added will be the greater of the on-hand or tag count. You will enter a quantity of 1 for each serial number that is in stock and 0 for those that are not. This will correct the tag count as well as the quantity when the physical count adjustment is posted. You can manually insert lines to add serial numbers that were not loaded.
o When you remove a serialized line item from a physical count, all line items for that item number will be removed from your document. In other words, either you count the item or you don’t. You can however delete rows that you’ve added or that do not represent currently on-hand recorded stock, without completely removing all lines for the item.
o The Inventory Transactions Report has been modified to show the quantity for any tag changes made by the transaction posting (TagTrxQty).
