Timecard Statuses can be configured as non-productive time. Non-productive time will be excluded from the calculation of billable hour efficiency. For example, meetings are non-productive time since the technician cannot be generating revenue while in meetings.
Non-productive time is indicated by a check box when making entries into the timecard. The default value on a new entry is based on the value set up for Timecard Statuses in the Reference Library, but can be overridden when necessary on a case-by-case basis.
NTC entries are productive by default. If an employee is engaged in non-productive time, replace an NTC entry with a non-productive timecard entry.
