The SuccessWare21® Http Server is designed to be installed and operate on a Windows® Server with the following configuration in addition to the existing requirements for a typical SuccessWare21® Server:
· Windows 2000 Server Service Pack 3 or Window 2003 Server.
· Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.
· Enabled port forwarding, through existing firewalls/routers to the server for a designated port (2142 recommended) is required for third party agents that will access the SuccessWare21® Http Server from the internet (such as the Vettro Mobile Technician). You will need your network administrator or internet service provider to set this up. Specific knowledge of your network router, firewall, or internet access will be required.
· SuccessWare21® can utilize a MS Access, MSSQL or MSDE database. Some third party applications (such as the Vettro Mobile Technician) require that you’re your SuccessWare21® installation be using a MSSQL or MSDE database. Check with your network administrator or contact SuccessWare if you do not know what database type your installation of SuccessWare21® utilizes.
· The SuccessWare21® Http Server includes a feature to obtain driving directions from one service location to another. In order for this feature to properly function, the SuccessWare21® Http Server must also have a copy of MS MapPoint 2002 or greater installed on the same machine.
