You can now record pay bases on A/R invoice line items and generate a report to assist in the gathering of piecerate pay information. You can also set up pay bases on tasks/tiers to help automate the recording of pay bases on A/R invoice line items.
When editing tasks from the pricebook, on the ‘Standard Price’ page, in the lower left is the ‘PayBase’ field. You can record this on the task. When the task is entered on the A/R invoice, the pay base will be mapped in with the description, price, etc…
Within the Price Formula Setup, along with the tiered pricing, you can set up a ‘pay base’ on each tier. This pay base will be mapped onto the tasks during repricing for any task in a group associated with that tier.
You can access the ‘pay base’ for a A/R invoice line item from the line item grid’s popup menu, or by pressing ‘ctrl+b’. Press enter to save the pay base or esc to cancel your changes.
