Added the Pricebook Setup button at the top left of the form for general pricebook setup and print options. Click the button, or use the shortcut key (Alt+P), to get the pricebook setup menu. The menu options are:
These menu options were removed from the other popup menus throughout the form.
In addition to the pricebook setup menu, other menu captions have been changed to more clearly indicate their function and to specify the category on which they are operating.
Added an option to reprice all categories for a particular item type, i.e. Reprice all part categories, Reprice all task categories, etc.
When using the search fields (Item #, Description, and Code Set) in the Pricebook, the option buttons would disappear and you would have to clear and re-enter the search information to search again. The system will now display the Clear and Cancel search buttons once a search has been performed (by pressing Enter or selecting Apply.)
The system now displays an icon on each category to reflect which categories are using default (fx) or custom pricing (fx with yellow circle).
The price update reminder icon has been changed. Rather than displaying the $! icon , a red exclamation mark will indicate that formulas have been modified since the last price recalculation.
Items can now be deleted. The delete option has been added to the right-click menu. The system checks if there are any inventory transactions for the item, if the item has been used to set up warehouse stock, or if the item is used on any task detail entries. If the system finds such entries, the process will be canceled and you will receive a message.
You can now select to use the default pricing setup, or to create a custom pricing setup, for each category. Use the category edit form to configure custom pricing for a category (book). You can also select to revert back to manual or default pricing setup, if necessary.
When adding a pricebook item, a new form for adding an item category / item group on the fly is now available from the item detail forms. Use Ctrl+C to add a category, or Ctrl+G to add a group for the item’s current category. These options have also been added as right-click options. The newly added category and group are automatically assigned to the new item.
You can now change the category while adding a new task.
If you edit an item and change the description on a part, labor, or miscellaneous item, the description for the item will now be changed on all tasks that include the item.
The pricebook report has an option to print in group title description order.
